I have been enjoying my time with Knack on the PS4. Common Sense Media has a good review of the game, and I encourage you to check it out to determine if your child should play the game.

Picking up the game, I didn’t expect the game to go in the direction of addressing the topic of war. The video is a short clip a conversation about war not resulting in peace, instead war causes retaliation, which leads to more war.

Instead of fixing the problems with war, as Christians we are called to be peacemakers. (Matthew 5: 9)

Christians are called to turn the other cheek. (Matthew 5: 38-42)

Part of God’s characteristic is peace, which is given to us by the Holy Spirit. (Galatians 5:22)

Usually games that deal with senseless destruction, don’t show the result of that destruction. But in the real world, violence always has negative consequences that linger for generations to generations.
